Brittany Martin, M.A., CCC-SLP/L
Founder and Owner
I am a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with over 13 years of experience in both academic and clinical settings.
I started BMS Pediatric Therapy Group to offer exceptional speech therapy to under-resourced areas of Chicago. I am passionate about fostering development outside the therapy room, during real-life activities, and involving caregivers along the way! I take the time to listen to the needs, values, and goals that each family has for their child, and I use those as the foundation for therapy.
Getting Started
We are currently accepting new clients! BMS Pediatric Therapy Group is in-network with BCBS and UnitedHealthcare. We also accept private pay clients and offer support for out-of-network reimbursement.
Step One
Contact us for a consultation where you can share about your child and discuss your concerns. We will answer your questions, make recommendations for next steps, and schedule our first session to learn more about your child’s communication skills.
Step Two
Attend an evaluation session where we will develop an understanding of your child's abilities and challenges. Following the evaluation, we will meet to discuss results and set goals and a therapy schedule that suits your family's needs.
Step Three
We will begin therapy in your child’s natural environment. You will be invited to join in on sessions, and we will provide materials and activities to help you work on therapy skills between sessions. Once your family’s goals have been met, your child will graduate from therapy!
Delivering Services Right to Your Doorstep
We conveniently provide in-home therapy services to families in the Chicagoland area and online teletherapy services to all residents of Illinois. Our services take place in the real world, help parents get involved, and remove the stress of having to commute to therapy!
